Baraah Sarakbi is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) and became passionate about her profession after completing a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at UNSW. Baraah has acquired her experience through working with a wide range of conditions with the elderly, adult and youth populations. She works in the clinic, from the gym and also offers to travel out to her clients in multiple locations such as home, school, parks or the aquatic centre for hydrotherapy.
Baraah shares a strong interest in neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Parkinson’s Disease and other forms of motor neurone disease. She focuses on treating clients in a creative way through tailoring an exercise program to their hobbies, activities and sports they particularly enjoy, making their rehabilitation as pleasant as possible!
Baraah has developed her skills as an Exercise Physiologist through working in several locations such as hospitals, private clinics, gyms and clinical organisations to increase her knowledge about chronic conditions as much as she could.
In her spare time, you might find Baraah enjoying some of her favourite hobbies which includes reading, swimming and hiking. Baraah is multilingual and speaks Arabic.
