Our Positive Psychologist is dedicated to inspiring growth and evolution in women and holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (First Class Honours, 2017) from The University of Melbourne. She has worked in both public and private clinical settings during her 18 years of professional experience. She has served culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women with various psychological presentations.

During the course of her career, she developed a passion for leveraging strengths in women. She moved away from traditional psychology (i.e. focusing on client problems) towards positive psychology, which emphasises the importance of focusing on the things that are going right in a person’s life.

Our Positive Psychologist is also a qualified Strength Profile Practitioner, using scientific assessments to gain deeper insights into what is unique about individual personalities. Women get clear on who they are, what they stand for while accepting their limitations. These meaningful insights allow clients to learn how to make better decisions, be the best versions of themselves and live purposefully. She supports women find their authentic strengths, this is at the heart of what she does. She uses evidence-based practices supported by the latest research in the field.

She also consults with organisations to optimise organisational performance. She enjoys running workshops, training and group therapy sessions.

She combines a range of therapeutic approaches embedded within the Islamic framework. She is dedicated to supporting her clients lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best within them and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play. She offers a distinctive conversation in a private space providing practical strategies supported by research in positive psychology.

She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society; CAPP Strength Profile Certified; Member of the International Positive Psychology Association; Member of The International Society of Schema Therapy; NSW Victims Services Psychologist; Employment Assistance Program Psychologist. Omnia is also a Justice of the Peace.

She is also bilingual and speaks Arabic.
