Cheryn Abouesh



Cheryn specialises in Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disabilities and provides behavioural intervention, family support, individual therapy and psychoeducation. Cheryn also conducts psychometric assessments for diagnostic purposes.

Cheryn has worked in both the private and public domains and has experience working with a variety of clients and presenting problems across the lifespan. This includes anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, family and parenting difficulties, relationship issues and personality disorders. She has a keen interest in mood disorders and multicultural considerations in mental health. She believes the client-therapist relationship is the most important vehicle in the journey to change and reach therapeutic goals.

Cheryn is also multilingual and speaks Arabic.
